Work health and safety declaration

Calm Agency undertakes to plan and perform its work in accordance with applicable Australian work health and safety or occupational health and safety requirements in the jurisdiction where the work occurs. We apply risk-based controls proportionate to the work and consult with the people performing it.

Our people

We consider physical and psychological health, workload, fatigue, working alone, safe travel and the conditions of remote work. Workers can raise hazards and stop or defer unsafe activity.

Client sites

Before site attendance, we coordinate with the client on induction, hazards, emergency arrangements, access and incident reporting. Each party retains its applicable safety duties.

Travel

We work nationally. Attendance, travel and accommodation bookings, payment or reimbursement, and expense approvals are specified in the engagement contract or agreed in writing before travel.

Hybrid delivery

Remote and hybrid work are available where appropriate to the engagement. We agree working arrangements, contact, equipment, secure access and any site attendance, and consider the safety of the work location.

Client information we request

For an engagement, please provide relevant site rules and induction requirements, a site contact, known hazards, emergency procedures, accessibility or travel requirements, and the agreed incident reporting route. Material changes are discussed before affected work proceeds.
